Your exact setting screens may be different due
to version changes in MSIE and DUN/RAS.
That said, here is the way I find that setting in
MSIE5.5SP2 + DUN1.4
Start MSIE.
Click on Tools, Internet Options.
Click the Connections Tab.
In the Dialup Settings box, select your Default Connection.
Then click Settings to the right of that.
In a different Dialup Setting box, click Advanced.
At (or near) the bottom should be the setting
"Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed"
Note: I have one "Beta program" on my machine that
ignores this setting. It may be a "feature" or a bug. (NDA.)
All the above may be different on your machine.
Good luck, Rick Glazier
