Another method is to go to the "Sent" folder and move/copy the
email to another email folder or "save as" to some folder external
to your browser.

If you only want the contents of the email, write your email in a
word processing program like MS Word, save it to a file for
archiving, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the email to
be sent.
