Hi, I have deleted files accidentally. I get a message when I boot up--Cannot
find a device file that may be needed to run windows or a windows
application. The windows registry or system.ini file refers to this device
file, but the file no longer exists, if you deleted this file on purpose try
uninstallin the associated application using it's uninstall or set-up
program. If you still want to use the application associated with this device
file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file. The
files
are-----C:\Netscape\system\vntstimd.exe-------\vtcprac.386------\pdwcomm.386--
--\dial.386. I think this application was programed in my computer when I
bought it. Windows 98 comes up, and works fine, but I have to go through this
whenever I boot up now. I don't use Netscape, I just want it gone whenever I
boot up. Would you recommend me reinstalling Windows? Thank you, Lorraine
