Thanks to all of you who responded to my question on whether Scandisk files
could be safely deleted. I am not sure what happened to create such a large
file when I scandisked the last time, but it was during the time that I had
a corrupt file in a mailbox and had to move all of the mailboxes out of OE5
in order to regain use of OE5. I am aware of the proper way to shutdown,
and only do it incorrectly if I lock up. I probably am guilty of not using
the scandisk and defrag as often as I should. The files in question have
been deleted after five of you said it was o.k. to let them go! Thanks
again,
Barbara Allen
