My experience with Dell tech support is that the ONLY suggestion they
will make to a computer neophyte is to crash and restore the computer.
I finally invited a technical whiz friend out and she called  ...turned
out the A drive and the modem were bad.

I'm now, 2 years into the 3 year warranty, having trouble with the
computer locking up as the modem disconnects.  Their only suggestion?
Crash and restore the computer.

*I* wouldn't recommend a Dell unless you are a technical whiz!
