This really isn't possible. A wave file is an exact digital encoding of a sound
stream. This could be anything from human voices to various sounds to musical
instruments.
Midi was designed to reproduce musical instruments. It is NOT a digital encoding
of a sound stream, rather it is a description of how to play various "known"
musical sounds at certain times. So basically it says "play drums" or "play
guitar". It can't replicate arbitrary sounds.
