This is three times in the last two or three months that I have had problems getting this IBM NetVista P4 (purchased off lease) PC to even boot up. Then when it finally does, the system date has been reset to 1/1/2000. And that gives me all kinds of security alerts when I try to acdess a web site. I've seen this problem listed before sometime in the past and believe it's a battery problem for the cmos (did I say that right?). But would like a confirmation. Thanks.
