Keyboard and mouse normally don't work with universe adaoter, you have to
use same brand adapter as the keyboard/mouse.  eg you can't get MS usb to
ps2 adapter to work on logitech hardware.  so the chance are very low if you
want to keep the keyboard working on new machine.  I'd suggest you to buy a
USB keyboard.
