        Kevin Hains answers;

        ...... Also try not to switch off your Epson printer until after you
switch your PC off,
        this often prevents the printer from charging the inks the next time
you
        switch it on.

        My question is does this also hold true with HP printers. I
recently purchased a HP-880C.
        What exactly do you mean when you say that the printer charges the
ink? Also, I have it where the printer and monitor is shut off by a power
strip after doing a shut-down of WIN 95.
        TIA
