Hi,

Though microsoft say 128 MB of ram memory is ok for win xp it does require a minimum of 256 MB. in actual practice it has been found that anything less than 512 MB leads to a lot of such problems.

anyway wait till other members' suggestions till you decide on the matter of increasing RAM.

good luck---Venkat
