I highly recommend that you take this to a laptop tech. Also, if you take it
apart, it's going to be really tough to check the charging circuitry. You
can look for scorching or arc marks, but that's about it. Are you thinking
of changing the DC to DC converter?

If you REALLY want to take it apart, look for little round or square
stickers on the outside of the case. The screws are hidden underneath those
stickers. You'll have to pop the screen hinge covers off (can be a pain)
and remove those screws as well. Also be careful of the little ribbon cables
(don't want to tear them). Make sure you keep track of what screws came out
of what holes because some can only go back in where they came out of.
Also, line up the parts in the order and orientation that you take them out,
so you can just put the parts back in in reverse order when you are done.

> Or, I suppose it could be the charging circuitry. Getting the unit apart
to check it with a voltmeter is another problem - the unit is very compact,
2.5lbs and about 1-1/2" thick. It was made by Twinhead but they don't have
a service manual for it. It is not obvious as to how it comes apart. . .
