I strongly recommend a laptop cooling pad. I'm talking about the kind that 
plugs into the USB port and has fans on it. These run around 20 to 25 US$. 
The best one I've seen was by Antec. It had an aluminum surface and a 
pass-through port for the USB plug in. Keeps your thighs cooler, too 
<grin>.
