I have recently installed an Adaptec 2906 SCSI card to connect to a JVC
XR-W2040 CD burner as well as a generic dual port USB card for use with
the Logitech Quickcam Express. I have nothing but headaches with both
devices. Sometimes they sort of work...sometimes they don't, sometimes
I get the blue screen of death...sometimes the applications just hang.
I've tried all manner of devise drivers and even upgraded my BIOS etc.
with very limited success. I notice in the system information that many
of the IRQs are being shared between devices and althogh Win98 does not
report any conflicts, I'm wondering if some of my problesm may be
related to IRQ conflicts. Is there a simple tool that can
detect/resolve hardware conflicts within Win 98 effectively?

Thanks,

Jim Larsen
