Hi folks,

I have upgraded to Win2k on a dual boot system. I can get all my hardware
and devices working OK with the singular exception of my scanner.

The scanner is an old STORM EasyPhoto Imagewave (connected via the parallel
port) and Storm has gone out of business. The last drivers they made were OK
for Win9x but it seems not for Win2k. The drivers seem to be pretty plain
vanilla TWAIN compliant drivers, but beyond that, I don't know what the
installation package installed. Seems like it is more their scanner/user
interface program rather than "drivers" per se.

Questions: Does anyone know of a generic scanner driver or scanner software
for Win2k that can
get the scanner working?

Is there any kind of workaround for the problem, other than booting to
Win98SE when I need to scan? For now, that is what I am doing, but in future
I would like to blow away 98SE and stick with 2000, but won't be able to
unless I can get the scanner (and its associated OCR program - Textbridge
Lite) working.

Thanks for advice.

Michael
