I typically don't not buy products with rebates ... or
at least don't expect to actually receive the rebate.
I base my purchase of the price of the item in
relationship to the value of the product. At any rate,
here's is my suggestion, call (877) 646-3714, which is
the number that I called when inquiring about the
rebate for my Acer CDRW 6206 drive. And here's what I
did since it was an 800 number and I wanted to have
some fun:

At the end of 8 weeks, the time I should have received
a rebate check, I called Acer every week day for 4
weeks getting the answer that my check was being
processed and should be mailed "shortly". Finally, I
asked to talk to the supervisor of the person
answering the phone, got his name and extension and
his word that I would receive the check within 7 to 10
business days. I let him know that I would be calling
him back to talk to his supervisor in the event that
his word was not the case. The check arrived in 4
days.
