Check in the BIOS and make sure you don't have the level 2 cache
disabled.

Hi there,

      I have built approximately 40 units for a nearby school and I am
trying to set up Windows Me on the last one. When I try setting up
Windows the system seems to take forever to do anything. It is so slow
to respond that the windows progress meter says Time Remaining: 283
minutes. It wouldn't take that long on an old 486. I have used the
Western Digital Utility to test the HDD, and it passes every test with
flying colors. What else should I be looking for? Also, is there any
really great Utility program for trouble shooting these things when
there is no OS installed? The system will start installing the OS, but
again, it is taking forever. All of the other 39 machines took only
minutes. The systems are...
