Martin,
The manual for the Linksys EtherFast 10/100 5-port hub that I have says that
"If any of the hub's ports are running at 10MBps, the UPLINK port's DISTANCE
capability drops from 100 meters to 5 meters (16.4 feet) at 100 Mbps.  So
the speed is still supported, however you loose 95 meters worth of
separation capability.  This may not be an issue in your application.  I
have not had an opportunity (or testing equipment for that matter) to check
this out.
