I've been trying to install the USB support for this device on two
machines running XP SP2. It installs okay on one of the machines, which
convinces me that its not a defective device, but the other box is never
able to recognize it when attached.

The camera installs three USB drivers: a "Composite Device" first, then
an "Imaging Device" and a sound device.
My HUNCH is that the reason it isn't recognized on the one machine is that
that's the machine my Canon USB printer is installed on, and since it has
card slots, the printer is already installed as a "Composite Device".

Does this make sense? Is there a workaround?
