Virtually any comparison you make between DSL or cable, cable will be the better, faster choice, albiet a bit more expensive. Another advantage of cable internet is you dont need a phone jack for it, it comes in though a cable jack like your tv, so you need coaxial cable, and not ethernet or phone cable. You can also get cable internet through your cable TV provider, such as Mediacom.

Hope I could help,

Subject: [PCBUILD] dsl vs cable

I'm currently using a dial up modem. I'm thinking of switching to DSL or
Cable. Can you tell me what is better or faster? Any good companies to
use?

I'm using XP2.

Thanks.
