Many of these boards come with the jumper default set to "reset
configuration" in place. You need to power up the board one time to do the
reset. Next shut off, and switch the jumper so as not to reset, and you
should be good to go!

Good Luck,

Steve Wolfe

Subject: [PCBUILD] Motherboard with SiS 530 chip

Hello All, especially Jun:

Thank you for the help. You were right, it did turn out to be a
PCChips (M599LMR) MB. I got the manual and printed it, set
the jumpers yet I get no video. At least now the power supply,
lights, fans and hard drive power up. It has built in AGP graphics.
Is there anything that I missed or could try to get the monitor to
come on?

<The company which carry PC100 brand name is PCChips, you
may search their website. www.pcchips.com
My last word: PC100 mobo is slow and the onboard video is really
bad (almost none of them can run openGL game such as Q3), don't
expect to use it as game platform.

<<I don't know much about ATX systems. I put in a 128
MG PC100 Dimm, a cable on for the HD and a 5GB
harddrive. everything seems OK but it will not power up.
The swith on the power supply doesn't turn the power supply
fan on, and the front power button wont start it or anything
else either. Any help will be appreciated.>>
