My young son was pointing to something on the screen while holding a magnet in his hand, which caused the display to distort and discolour. It's mostly back to normal, except for a darker area in the bottom right corner. It is noticeable and irritating. Other than restarting the computer and the monitor, I don't have any ideas how to fix it. Is this maybe permanent damage?
The monitor is an AcerView 33D SVGA 14". Any ideas?
