I find this study hard to believe -- would be nice to know the details -- did
some research a couple of years ago concerning vitamin C and heart disease
and came away very impressed with the benefits of supplementation. Studies
that not only estimated/measured dietary intake levels, but actually measured
serum levels of the vitamins found incredible benefits regarding not only
CHD, but also cancer and all cause mortality. Of course, the subjects in this
study already had heart disease, and if Rath is right then lysine and proline
supplementation would have been more helpful. But why vitamin C and E should
have been harmful boggles the mind.

Namaste, Liz
