Studies that not only estimated/measured dietary intake levels, but actually measured serum levels of the vitamins found incredible benefits regarding not only CHD, but also cancer and all cause mortality. Of course, the subjects in this study already had heart disease, and if Rath is right then lysine and proline supplementation would have been more helpful.
