On the contrary, there is no need to "stop" - your diet plan is described in
pages 336-343 of the paleo diet book "Protein Power Lifeplan" by Drs. Eades,
including the rationale for doing it that way.

As discussed recently in this list, many people turn to the Paleo Diet to treat
illnesses that are partially or wholly caused by eating unnatural foods.  Such
people often need the "Purist" approach in order to treat their illness, but
this doesn't mean that there isn't significant benefit from merely restricting
non-paleo foods, rather than eliminating them.

Stress causes increased cortisol production, which inhibits the production of
"good" eicosanoids, such as prostaglandins...
