IMO if weight loss plan is set up properly it shouldnt happen regardless of
carb intake. if you set calories to low or try to loose weight to quickly
sure it can happen. The trick is to keep the body just ouside the starvation
mode but still in calorie deficit.
One mistake most people do: they don't readjust they calories when they
loose weight plus they don't build muscule mass in a meantime.
I eat very low carbs and recently was on a CR diet and my thyroid results
are always normal (or used to be since I don't do medical checks anymore:
found them useless).
