According to the little book here that comes with my green tea, in 100 g
varies from 1.9 to 3.5 percent caffeine.  Hojicha and bancha are the least,
gyokuro and matcha the most.

Probably what most of the tea in US bags is is close to zencha...around
2.3-2.5 % caffeine.
