Let me see if I can find it..... Oh not too hard. Here it is:

From: Carol

I get severe allergic reactions to fruit flavored antacids. It started
when I was a kid, and fruit flavored Tums first came out. I ate them
like candy for a couple days and developed severe disabling joint pain,
accompanied by hives (wheals) that lasted for weeks. Now I thought I was
the only person in the world who could be allergic to fruit or mint
flavored antacid (can take the original flavors without a problem), then
I have a friend who was pregnant, and was complaining of joint pains and
big hives all over, and the way she described them, and the type pain
she had, I said to her, if I didn't know better, I'd tell you you have
the exact symptoms I get when i take fruit flavored Tums or any fruit
flavored antacid. She said she was taking Tums for the calcium. I told
her to stop and after two weeks, the symptoms went away. She like me can
take plain antacids, but no mint or fruit flavored ones. NOW I just
found out a lady in my church was having an allergic reaction, and they
didn't know what was causing it. She was carrying adrenalin kit with
her, plus taking decadron. I spoke to her about what could be causing
it. Now mind you, like the other, I had no idea she was taking Tums for
calcium, but was kinda joking around with her about the weird things you
can be allergic to, and told her my and my friends Tum allergy. She
looked at me funny and said, "I take them multiple times a day for
calcium" I told her, I bet anything they are the problem. She stopped
taking them....her symptoms are going away now, it's been a week.
