Mawdo Yero "ah haalee gongnga".  I wanna substantiate the word that BJ said is out there, that Jammeh is in fact a Fulani. Yes he is. I realized that when he first attempted to say "Brikama" at the Junta's first rally at McCarthy Square, in the early days of the coup. He went like this; "Mburukama". I went down on my knees in laughter.  I knew from that moment on that he does not belong to the Jola family, for his actions and thought process are inconsistent with the typical Jola traditions and values. I am sure you will agree with me that the Jola's have no "Tapalapa" syndrom.

Have a wonderful Sunday guys.
Pa. s. Kujabi.

Mawdo Pa,

I see you pulling hard on the Fulas..(LOL).

I just got a chance to read that link that Dr. Jallow shared. It is scary that such can come from someone in the capacity of a justice mind. It shows how behind we are interms of catching up to other standards/principles. For a third moment, I had to pause and say to myself....did he just write that? And hell yea, is he serious? On a humorous note, Nana Grey-Johnson, Modou Sabally or Ebrima Jawara probably edited it for him...lol

Very stunning....and May God help Gambia!

Best,
Yero.

Pa Saikou,

Is the new word not out that Jammeh is actually a Fulani? Yes, anyone who heaps such lavish praises and goes all the way down to paint Jammeh in the beautiful colors of the peacock as a "great man" when he is in reality a "very little man" is certainly brown-nosing for some lucrative offer.  But like you said, good luck to him.

BGJ,

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, there are many characters like Hassan out there who would do anything and everything to earn Yaya"s favors. They will run over citizens with a tanker just to take a photo with the tyrant. It is particularly disheartening for me to know that many of my Fulani family are still scared to death of Jammeh, especially the young ones.

On a serious note though, I think Hassan has an ulterior agenda. Next stop? In the Cabinet? Good luck to him.

Thanks again,

Pa. Saikou Kujabi.

I just stumbled upon this book on Amazon by one Assan Jallow (link below). Check out the table of contents. From the contents, it seems like Jammeh has almost or actually out-titled the Osagyefo himself. Might be a good one for the records, especially since it contains quite a number of addresses by  Assan's "Jammeh - the nation-builder"
