Wow! that's a news to me.Then it is a high time for you to learn from others how
to demonstrate in the down town Atlanta. I will liaise with CNN to give you full
coverage. This might   have an impact on the dictator's misrule than boozing
here in this platform for nothing. One thing that is cystal clear about the
Gambia is that no amount of "big talk" without implementation can change our
present predicament. Before changes take effect we need the following:
1. Attitudinal changes.
2. Honesty and integrity.
3. Moral respect for each other , be it big or small.
4. Value and respect for life.
5.Unity and solidarity.
Why since the inception of the political parties in the Gambia no opposition is
in record for demonstrating against the evil deeds of president Jammmeh? The
journalist have done it , when Deda Hadra was gun down on December 16 , 2004?

Thanks

I just told you why you wouldn't organise a demonstration in Nagorno Karabach
whenever you wake up on the wrong side of your bed. Why would someone who has
never attended a demonstration begin by organising one in Cap Skirine just for
the fancy??? Start by joining your fellow citizens in Dakar and Bamako. So much
for platforms and stages.

Haruna. You issues to take care of hangh???

I cannot attend the DC demonstration , I issues to take care of. I attended that
of  New York . Hay! why bring something of  PDOIS? All am insinuating  is that
you tend to be so noisy in this platform and I guest if you organize one in
Atlanta it can make a difference.
I have never had of Gambians in Atlanta demonstrating, why not? Are we not all
Gambians in the diaspora? Why travelling so far?

It is HarunaSilo. I think you came from Cape Verde to settle in Kaolack. IT isd
not HARUNACILO.

Anyway Badou, I'm planning to be at the DC demo today since I'm already here on
another mission. If I can break out of my meetings early, I will be there. Hope
to see you later today. Don't you know America's world revolves around New York
and DC???? What would I look like holding a friggin demonstration against Yahya
in the cotton fields of Atlanta? In my overalls?? Friggin PDOISards. It is not
who you are. It is where you hold it when it comes to demonstrations. You can't
just wake up and decide you're holding a demonstration against any idiot
anywhere.

I'll see you later men.

Haruna.

Haruna, I guest you should be organizing one in Atlanta. I thought Atlanta has a
reasonable Gambian population.
Try and reach out and show them "Harunacillo."

Badou

URGENT REMINDER:

Please come to this event tomorrow to make it a success in showing the world
that Gambians are fedup with the Jammeh regime.  I understand that Amnesty is
trying to be at the embassy door early so that the enbassy staff will still be
there.  Gambians need to come early too.  Gather at the door by 3:30PM.

Ansu

Haruna Darbo Said:

Beautiful Mr. Bojang and Amnesty Intl. USA. I encourage all Gambians,
particularly those in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to make this a REMARKABLE
demonstration. Numbers will do the trick. We must keep the pressure on on all
fronts. Maximum Pressure is what the clueless understand.

Haruna.

Subject: Demonstration at Gambian Embassy in DC

Amnesty International, USA is planning a demonstration at the Gambian embassy in

DC on Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at 4PM.  This is conjunction with the "Gambia
Day of Action" on July 22 that took place all over the globe.

Gambians interested in the affairs of the nation need to make all efforts to
attend this demonstration to show that we care about what is going on in the
country.  All are encouraged to try to make time for this important event.  We,
the Gambians,  need to take the lead in such actions to show the international
community that we are aware and not happy with the situation in Gambia.

The embassy is located at this address:

2233 Wisconsin Ave NW
Suite 240
Washington, DC 2007

(202) 785-1399, 1379, 1425

I hope the Gambia Press Union, USA will disseminate this information as widely
as possible.
