It's interesting to learn about different foods, what about cake, or
cookies, do they have special sweet treats to eat?
I do so love chocolate, do they like chocolate?
Rhonda

Rhonda and all,

They have their own kind of tamalis, which are wrapped in banana leaves. =
Instead of having beef like Mexicans do, they have chicken. I forget =
who uses pork, maybe the Mexicans. Blanca gave Judy some of both to =
taste, and she said she liked the El Salvadorians best! I'm not sure =
which I like more.

that was for Christmas. For New Year's Eve, Blanca made El Salvadorian =
sandwiches. It seems like it has something in it that makes a different =
flavor that I'm not used to, but it has turkey, celery, tomatoes, =
cucumbers, and it was in a long bun. I'll have to ask her more about =
it.

Sharon
