Helen,

As so many have expressed already, welcome back. In reading your note of a
wounded spirit", it caused me to think on how that can differ from a
wounded heart or emotion. We sometimes get our heart broken in one form or
another, or have our feelings tossed on the rocks by others comments or
even our own negative or unloving as Pat might say, actions or words
towards others which betray our value of God's absolutes and we find we
have hurt someone else. As hard as that is to sometimes deal with, a
wounded spirit, seems to cut deeper. Yet it seems to heal all the faster.
With your recognition of hindering God to heal it, you are nearly there.
Just remember to give your self justification. Just as happiness
is emotional happenstance compared to joy being a spiritual gift, excuses
is emotional irresponsibility, but justification is a spiritual gift. God
is in the Justification business. Just if I'd *smile* Just if I'd not sinned.

Good to have you back.

Brad
