I'm a free-lance braille transcriber. I use Duxbury and I have a
Juliet embosser. I had a second parallel port installed on my
computer so I can leave both my embosser and laser printer
connected all the time, the laser printer to LPT1 and the embosser
to LPT2. This makes it possible to select either the printer or
embosser directly from whatever software is being used. Duxbury
allows separate settings for printing and embossing, so that "print"
always goes to the laser printer and "emboss" always goes to the
embosser.
