Thank you for the information on treating accidental gluten ingestion.
The following have been suggested to help diffuse symptoms:

1. Homeopathic remedy Veratrum Album 30cc. Two pills under the tongue should stop gluten reactions.
It sounds like this remedy can be either a liquid or pills put under the tongue. This remedy was the choice of several people.
2. Homeopathic remedy Podophyllum Peltatum ( 6c or 30c) for diarrhea.
3. Alka Seltzer Gold to help neutralize and add alkaline back to the body as allergic, intolerant reactions increase body acidity.
4. Pepto Bismol maximum dose for a day or two for diarrhea. Several people mentioned this remedy for children.
5. Charcoal pills to absorb offending gluten, then papaya pills which is an emzyme that helps digest food in small amounts.
6. L-glutamine 1000mg between meals with a large of water for damage control or immune reaction.

Some other comments were:
1. One person reacted to glucose tablets that were marked gluten free. On calling the company, was told that allowed to say gluten free if the product contains less than 1% gluten.
2. Soy powder may have been contaminated from another product which contained gluten.
3. One persons daughter takes two or three weeks to recover after accidental gluten ingestion.
4. Several people stated that the soy powder mentioned wheat and grain free but did not say specifically gluten free.
5. Another said not to buy a supplement unless it specifically states gluten free. Wheat flour may be on the conveyer belts, barley enzymes are used in processing or cross contamination may be an issue. Offenders are sometimes things that are not ingredients.
6. One person said that symptoms sounded like candida yeast overgrowth. ( Symptoms disappeared after stopping the offending soy powder and switching back to my regular Genisoy Powder. )
