Hi,

I am trying to get information to someone with a child having a gluten
reaction.  The child was fed  Mission Brand to corn tortilla chips and
the ingredients include corn treated with lime water.

I recall reading that corn processed with lime water contains gluten.  I
searched the archives and found information stating that Mission
chips were GF, but also stating that additives could be included in the
lime that were not gluten free.  I would really appreciate the scoop on
this.  I feel for this kid!
