The metamucil website has made a change sometime in the recent past.
Metamucil powder is now gluten free in all flavors. The wafers,
however, contain gluten.

Does Metamucil contain gluten?
All Metamucil Powder and Capsules are gluten-free. Metamucil Wafers,
however, contain gluten (Apple Crisp 0.7g/dose; Cinnamon Spice
0.5g/dose) because they have wheat flour.

Thanks to an alert reader that shared her experience after calling the
800 number for Metamucil.

Dr. Holland
