Following are two e-mails that my son received back from Moe's Southwest
Grill. They are a national chain restaurant. They do not recommend that people
with Gluten sensitivity should eat there.
sincerely,
Debbie Del Priore

Dorian,
Due to your sever gluten allergy and the concern about cross-contamination,
I don’t think it would be safe at all for you to eat at Moe’s. Almost
everything we make is served with a flour tortilla and therefore all employees are
handling tortillas with their gloves all day. The chances of cross
contamination therefore are very high.
I am so sorry I don’t have better news for you but I would rather be safe
than sorry.

No, unfortunately, our veggie base currently contains gluten. We are
working on a new base but it is not in all stores yet. Until then, almost all of
our hot items contain that veggie base.
