I just returned from our Family physician with our 13 year old daughter.
Our 8 year old son has recently been diagnosed with Celiac. Our daughter
has no symptoms but her grandmother and great-grandmother both have/had
diarrhea and the latter died of Ca of the bowel.

I have requested our daughter be tested for Celiac. Doctor wrote a
requisition for bloodwork but said there is great 'debate' whether or not to
go on GF diet with no symptoms.

We will have the bloodwork done but wondering what we will do with the
results since she has no symptoms. I don't have a lot of faith in the
medical community in this regard since it took 6 years to diagnose our son.
Any thoughts?

Thanks
