Mags,

Laura is my second wife.  I married wa-a-a-y too young the first time around and wife number one decided to "shop around" after she had already purchased the merchandise.  Had the reversal done as Laura and I wanted to raise a couple kids together and re-snipped because, well, it's the most effective "family planning" method and, frankly, The Pill kind of scared us both.

Laura and I married when I was 33--more mature and world-wise.  She's not only my wife, but my best friend.  We share the same sick sense of humor.  There's always laughter at our house.
