I had an OT friend who worked there before coming here.  She said they would
poke and prod her on the buses and she basically got treated poorly even as
an educated person.  She enjoys America much better.

Yep, indentured, their employer (the Saudi/Kuwaiti) holds their
passport so they can't leave nor change jobs without permission.
