I agree with everyone here, especially with the "being realistic" caveat.  Too
many parents expect their children (AB or disabled) to become geniuses, or
whatnot, and that's not good for the child or parents, not to mention the
teachers.

My parents expected a lot of me, and that was not to say I couldn't deliver,
as I was above average in reading and writing but my math skills left
something to be desired.  I'm surprised I did as well as I did in graduate
school in statisical analysis as bad as I was in math in school.
