Hey'all
My son is writing a paper on Brunelleschi (Renaissance architect) and
wants to know what the little outward bump is called within the valley of the
flute at the lower portion of some fluted columns. I know it adds proportion
and rustication, but can anyone tell me what these things are called?
Thanks,
