We (upstate NY) have one too out in Allegany County (southeast of Buffalo near the PA border). Thank the surveyor of this area, Simeon DeWitt, and his love of 'ancient Roman Mythology.'

Our Cuba is as the first place oil was sighted in North America (1627). I was attending a hydrofracking lecture/discussion last week and they said it was the site of the first oil seep seen on the continent.
