No doubt your architect friend with the pointy handkerchief (and perhaps two
middle initials?, or a single middle name?)  would be all in favor of the
frame change, and might even be persuaded to take all those crappy old frames off
the Met's hands for a reasonable handling fee.

While you're snuggling up to him, ask him if he's got any good ideas about
how to clean the stone at the Met.
