Son asked me today if Broadway shows have matinee? How the hell should I
know, I've never been to a Broadway show!!!! But thought maybe somebody
here had. I did see Katherine Hepburn live in Coco, however it may be
spelled, in LA many years ago. It was a bit of a let down though, being
used to seeing everything up close on screen it's so different to be in an
audience with the action miles away on stage. I had the same reaction to
my first live baseball game--I was used to seeing it on tv, with close-up
and instant replay. I couldn't even see the ball!!!!! I'd rather watch
such events in the comfort of my own living room where I can watch in my
nightie if I want. Especially nights like tonight when it's about -10
already out there. Stay warm, Ruth
