Just returned from Bermuda where the roofs, which are catch
points for the water cisterns below the houses, are lime
washed every 2 yrs or so, evidently as a disinfectant -it
doesn't seem to harm the goldfish some folks keep down in the
cistern....

should have asked for the recipe..

Talk about a place where form follows function-
cookie cutter shoe boxes, tiny houses w/out enough
ornamentation to call for the use of trim paint-
but they hang in there during hurricanes..

a lot of patching of coral walls going on & I was wondering
what type of mortar they are using- watched guys cutting stone
w/ a crosscut hand saw.
