He was "serving" our country at the time.
Who said you were wrong, not me? The whole issue created a large stink down
here a year or so ago, the former base commander's records of the time being
questioned, along with his (the commander's) reputation being put on the
line, Bush's "service record" ect, Bush not keeping his required flight time
up while in Alabama. If I'm not mistaken he never flew again once sent to
Al., hence the $1,000,000.00 piss off.

Catch up on your history, Bush was with the TANG 147th Fighter Wing (based
in Houston) assigned to Alabama for "special training". We should have paid
attention then; set into motion was his ability to piss away over
$1,000,000.00 of the tax payer's money with no hope of a noticeable return.
