You, confined to the fixed price may not be reasonably expected to make these
inquiries, but I must when the opportunity presents itself.  Given the project
management tools and fiscal tools, I might even require it.  What I cannot
afford is to damage or loose a resource for lack of the answer to a question I
didn't ask.

The craftsman who does not alert me to the question and help me review my
options, does me little service.  Is this the hand without a head I've heard
of?
