You're nearly describing our dog, Mississippi (Missy, for short).  She's
mostly beagle, with daucshund and keeshound mixed in for good measure.
Pretty weird looking dog - low to the ground, broad shoulders with lots of
fur that's coloured like a beagle.  Oh, and her head (daucshund) is too
small for the rest of her body.

I've had little luck with dogs.  Sparky, the seemingly asmatic Minnesota
Mud
Hound who adopted us after aparently missing the mark in her breeders plan
by
coming out looking like a Beagle, but built like a terrirer, with a
dachshounds face...but that's not the story I'm telling...
