Ottumwa, Iowa... a Coal Palace. You can find out about it in the local  
Ottumwa histo presto museum. Sadly the building burnt  down.


Sounds like the Minhattin condo with the built-in  garages.   Wonder if it 
burned better, longer and hotter than a  wood-framed building would have.  
Wasn't there a Sullivan bank in Ottumwa,  or was it something else of note?
