The "This Old House" you mention is the very show that stimulated the
formation of the Traditional Timberframe Research and Advisory Group within
the Timber Framers Guild of North America. The scene in which the old frame
crashhed to the ground in a cloud of dust raised more than a few hackles. You
never wold have the an English version.

Beauty is in the eye of the deed holder.
